Sunscreen is a necessary and important part of Summer. No one wants to get scorched on the beach or burnt at a picnic. The only thing that should be roasting at a BBQ are the hotdogs, folks! While we want to be protected, those thick, sticky, & smelly sunscreens are just not our jam. Instead, we look for lightweight, non-greasy formulas that provide good coverage and don’t leave us feeling icky. We did the research and then gathered our 5 favorite sunscreen brands to keep you safe & smexy this summer.

We don’t typically go for the sprays. It always feels like the majority of the product is flying into the breeze, not sticking to your skin. But Coola SPF 15 Body Spray is THE BOMB. It goes on smooth and doesn’t feel sticky at all. In fact, our skin felt softer after we put it on. The smell is light and faintly floral. Spray it into your hands then apply to you body, so you don’t waste a single drop.

It’s tough to find a sunscreen that won’t make you break out. Supergoop Everyday Sunscreen is the answer. We save this stuff for our face, but you could definitely use it all over. It’s lightweight and absorbs quickly. We’ve been loyal Supergoopers for years because it’s not greasy and won’t leave you with a single post-sunscreen blemish.

The price tag on this stuff can be a bit of a shock. A 1.7oz bottle runs $42 at Sephora (zoinks!). So, needles to say, it’s another brand we save for our face. The sheer formula has anti-oxidants in it and promises to hydrate your skin while protecting it from UV rays.

This stuff smells AMAZING and to be honest that’s why we bought it in the first place. But, the topical scent is just a bonus; the lotion isn’t greasy and will last through your sweaty beach volleyball match or paddle-boarding adventure.
neutrogena Ultra sheer dry-touch
You’re completely protected from those harmful UV rays, but it feels like you have nothing on with this sunblock brand. The Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch is great for face and body, dries fast, and is water-resistant!
