Buvette is a ridiculously charming and charismatic French restaurant. Chef Jody Williams transports you to Europe with the cozy atmosphere, aloof waiters, killer Croque Monsieurs, and delightful Sancerre selection- all of which she has so effortlessly brought together. It’s as if the restaurant were taken directly from a movie-esque Parisian neighborhood and plopped right on the tree-lined streets of the West Village. Any time of day is great to try this captivating eatery. It’s probably the most vivacious at brunch, but any other time, including afternoon cappuccino time, is great as well. Still, our favorite time to go is brunch and we go often. You will too after a few bites of their croque. It’s really good and pairs awfully well with a mimosa.

While small in size, Buvette still manages to feels open and airy. We recommend keeping your party size down though, because they don’t take reservations and it may be tricky with a large group. Be sure and add this to your to do list; we promise you’ll fall in love.
