Rooftop Wine Garden in TriBeCa

Keep the vino flowin’! We’re pretty jazzed to tell you about the rooftop wine garden in TriBeCa.
City Vineyard

City Vineyard sits on Pier 26 with gorgeous views of the Hudson River and 1WTC. The renovation of the west side pier has been a multi-million dollar project and several years in the making… but the wait was worth it. Through a public bidding auction, the folks over at City Winery (one of the best venues in NYC) were awarded the riverfront space. With it, they created City Vineyard, a rooftop wine garden and soon-to-be restaurant. The restaurant will be downstairs inside a beautiful, glass-enclosed space. Open now, you can head upstairs to the rooftop and garden wine bar area, where they serve their house-made wine on tap and a light menu of small plate dishes.

With unobstructed river views and a fun, relaxed vibe, you’ll forget you’re in a crowded big city. The spacious rooftop, dangling grape vines and open-air feel will instead transport to you to wine country. Not a bad place to be after a long day at the office.

Perhaps the best news of all, we heard there’s no hard season-end date for the wine garden. If the weather is nice late into the fall, they’ll be open. So add this new spot to the list to check out with friends. It’s a great place to meet people for some post-work vino and enjoy the beautiful waterfront. The City Winery folks always do it right, so you can expect great things from the new wine garden – and we can’t wait to check out the restaurant. Cheers!
