Nestled amongst some of the best vineyards in world, the only real problem with The Carneros Inn is having to pull yourself away from the private luxury cottages, outdoor baths, and secluded fire-pits – to actually go and see those acclaimed wineries.
Set in the Napa Valley foothills, laden with endless rows of grape-filled vines, The Carneros Inn has sailed to the forefront of our favorite #FLYAWAY boutique hotels. It’s the ultimate luxury resort, and it just happens to be in the middle of wine country.
The 27-acre estate consists private cottages speckled throughout the scenic property. They’re all spectacular, but ask for one looking out into the hills, so you can watch the dew burn off the vineyards each morning. In any of Carneros’ stylish cottages, you’ll melt into their luxurious, crisp-white duvet and relish the massive bathrooms complete with heated floors. The privacy continues when you swing open the French doors leading to your own private backyard. Lay on the loungers or cozy up nest to fire-pit, take in the warmth and look at the stars when the sun goes down. A quick call to the front desk and a S’mores kit can be delivered to your doorstep in no time. Most cottage backyards are outfitted with a large, decadent porcelain tubs as well as amazing outdoor showers. When you can order in room service from their much-adored Boone Fly Café, it genuinely becomes a tough abode to leave.
The resort’s breathtaking pool looks out over the rolling Napa hills and pink sunsets lure you back each night to soak them in. It’s is one of the most photographed images of the Inn, and one of the most beautiful outdoor pool areas we’ve ever seen – that includes pictures and real life.
The Carneros Inn also happens to be home to one of the best restaurants in Napa, Farm. Lounge outside by the fire pits, before heading in to dine delicious food that will light up the eyes of even the most fervent of foodies. Their property also includes a top-notch spa, boutique shop and marketplace.
As one of the most charming resorts in the country, The Carneros Inn’s private cottages are like none other. And it doesn’t hurt either that vineyards like Caymus, Frog’s Leap, and Domaine Chandon are just around the corner.
