THe maven hotel
Located right in the heart of LoDo (Lower Downtown) The Maven Hotel is a breath of fresh air for the hospitality industry. They’ve somehow recreated what a hotel lobby is, making theirs funky, fresh, and oh so inviting. There are a variety of room types, making is a pleasant option for solo travelers, families, or groups. While it has upwards of 170 rooms, it doesn’t feel huge and the service was amazing – staff were quick to help give directions, loan an umbrella, or point us to their favorite Denver gems.
Great Location
Set right in the Dairy Block of Denver, Colorado, The Maven Hotel is an excellent choice for your next visit. Wether you drove in, fly and took an Uber, or traveled by train, you’re in luck. The central location of The Maven Hotel makes it an easy place to get to and from, even by foot! We loved that it’s close to the Free Market, Untion Station, and plenty of great shops, restaurants, and bars!
Killer lobby situation
The lobby of The Maven Hotel has a lot going on, in a good way. The space is completely open, sprawling even, and its hard to tell where the technical ‘lobby’ ends. Kachina, a taqueria, as well as Poka Lola, a spot with small bites and drinks, are both excellent dining options right in the lobby. Huckelberry Roasters coffee shop is just off the lobby, right across from a boutique and a straight shot down the hall to a lovely market.
Little Extras
When you check in, you’re given a few tokens which can be used for drinks at the Kachina airstream. Don’t sleep on their margarita – it is delicious! They’ve also partnered with Huckelberry Roasters, the coffee shop just off the lobby, to provide free drip coffee and discounted lattes to hotel guests each day. These extras, though small, felt thoughtful and made us feel like we were valued visitors!
The Maven Hotel is a great choice for your next visit to Denver!
