what we loved

• Whether it’s a Vols game that brings you to Knoxville or just a visit to the South, the location of The Tennessean is killer. It’s walkable to everything downtown, the UT campus, and if you’re in for a stroll, the football stadium.
• The Panoramic Suite offered beautiful views of World’s Fair Park and the huge windows brought in tons of natural light. The corner suite was so spacious, the design was inspired by the Tennessee landscape, and it was perfect for a family or friends traveling together.
• The restaurant, Tavern at the Maker Exchange, is serving up some delicious Southern food. Think fried green tomatoes topped with pimento cheese and chicken and dumplings – hearty, stick-to-your-ribs food to fuel you for the whole day. It’s open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• The Drawing Room, located on the second floor, is a great space to watch a game or socialize. The bar mixes a mean smoked old fashioned and the views are lovely.

what made it unique

• The Maker Exchange is ‘a place to socialize, grab a drink or bite, and discover Knoxville’s artists and makers’ and is located on the ground floor. The epicly large and beautifully designed space is ideal for working remotely, enjoying a drink or coffee, and
• The Curio, also on the ground floor,  features a rotating array of local art, all of which is for sale- just scan the QR code next to each piece to purchase. The Curio is also an event space!
• The coffee shop on the ground floor is so cute and such a fun addition to the property. Rather than just being a quick coffee bar like most hotels, there is space to sit, work, or enjoy your delicious bevy right there in the shop.
