Built into the steep rocky cliff outside of Dubrovnik’s city walls, Buza Bar is one of the most iconic cocktail spots in the world. You access the bar from inside Old Town and walk through an archway that’s been carved into the thick medieval exterior city wall, which leads down to the bar with the Adriatic Sea shimmering below.
In the hour before sunset, the bar fills up with tourists and locals ready to revel in a breath-taking sunset with beer in hand. Small tables are snuggled together on different terrace levels. When they quickly fill up, bar-goers start spreading out on the rock side. Any spot with a view will do just fine at this laid back gathering spot. Sure there can be a lot of people here at sunset, but this is one of those experiences you want to be a part of with the crowd – it’s magical!
