Perched atop a rocky cliff overlooking the ocean, the luxury resort boasts stunning views of the Pacific for as the eye can see. Luckily, the property also has plenty of panoramic seating areas from which to take in sunrise, sunset, and every moment in between. 
Like all Ritz Carlton properties, no details is left unattended. Should the main pool become too crowded, they have another, smaller swimming hole just steps away. This one feels quieter and more secluded, perfect for a day of lounging and catching up on a good book.
If you venture down to the beach, be sure to take the complimentary shuttle because it’s a relatively steep walk. Once the sand hits beneath your feet, you should snag a chair and umbrella and soak up the salty breeze.
You can’t come all the way to Dana Point without dining at Raya. With stunning views of the ocean and beach below, you can take in the sunset while noshing on Ahi Tuna Ceviche or the Endive Salad. We also recommend the Pan Seared Scallops!
