5 Best Luxury Villas in the Caribbean

When eyeing the Caribbean for a beach vacation, it’s sometimes hard to choose from all the beautiful islands. That’s why we often pick our trips based on the accommodation rather than the destination. Whether it’s a friends trip or a family trip (especially with little kiddos), we love a villa experience because it lets everyone be together. The Caribbean boast some spectacular villa experiences and we’ve round up our top 5 for you!

#1: Baraka Point

This epic fully-staffed luxury estate in the British Virgin Islands sits at the top of our list for good reason. The views and services at the private villa are second to none. You’ll have your own private chef, house-keeping, and concierge team that will take care of every need, so that you can relax poolside and enjoy the world-class cuisine and jaw-dropping 260 degree oceanfront views. The estate sleeps up to 16 people, with six luxurious guest suites spread out amid the lush tropical landscape. Many luxury resorts offer villas for twice the price, and they don’t even come with their own chef and team. The Baraka Point experience is magic from start to finish and the perfect place for a private getaway. For more on Baraka Point, read here.

#2: COMO Parrot Cay

Set on its own private island in Turks & Caicos, COMO Parrot Cay is easily one of the best luxury hotels in the Caribbean. It’s the definition of barefoot luxury with two stunning beachfront pools separated by a chic beach bar. The water here is so blue and the sand is so white that it almost hurts your eyes. With such stunning stretches of shorelines on this private island, the beachfront villas are simply a must. The villas have a breezy open-air island vibe with white-washed walls, gorgeous canopy beds, and an outdoor area with your own private pools, cabana and beachfront. Stay in your own private sanctuary all day, or hop on a bike or call a golf cart to visit restaurants, pool areas or spa. For more on COMO Parrot Cay, see here.

#3: Oil Nut Bay

At the far east end of Virgin Gorda lies 400 hundred acres of lush natural landscape dotted with some of the most luxurious villas and private homes in the world. This hardly known, super luxurious paradise is called Oil Nut Bay. Many of the private homes can be rented, giving you full access to the world-class amenities at this exclusive resort community, including: sports courts, private beach, restaurants, multi-level pool area, beach activities and property’s brand new swanky marina + restaurants called, NOVA. Oil Nut Bay lies right across from Richard Branson’s Necker Island and can only be accessed by boat or helicopter.

#4: Fauna Grand Cayman

This 3-bed,2.5 bath home in West Bay, Grand Cayman is so insanely gorgeous is rivals the pristine views. The new and modernly designed home sits right on the ocean and has a turf-surrounded pool deck complete with a grill and outdoor dining area. The pool has a knee-deep section near the loungers making it ideal for kids to play, the home is a 5-min drive from 7-mile beach and dozens of great restaurants and the views are insane from all 3 levels of the home. The best part is that when booking through the members-only vacation club Inspirato, the home comes with a concierge who will help arrange airport transfers, cabs to and from meals and activities (and arrange those meals and activities) and even grocery shop for you before you arrive so you can just walk in exhale, and enjoy!

#5: Barbuda Belle

A puddle-jumper flight away from Antigua will land you on the stunning, secluded island of Barbuda. The moment we stepped onto the property, we just felt something. Something about it is different…special…magical even. With just seven bungalow style villas (all named after a type of bird) on a idyllic strip of private beach, it feels remote without feeling forgotten.  With so few villas, there are easily twice the number of staff members than guests at any give point. This means, every single thing you could want or need will be taken care of with you barely having to ask. For each meal, you’ll find a full, delicious menu created by the chef based on what’s locally fresh and available that day and the food is divine. For more on Barbuda Belle, see here.
