If you’ve ever had a favorite lipstick suddenly get discontinued, then you know the pain. Girl, we’ve have been there and it’s annoying. But what if we told you it never has to happen again!?
Bite Beauty Lip Lab is a small studio in SoHo where you can create your own custom lip color in a variety of different finishes, scents, and flavors. You can bring an old favorite and have the color replicated, or spend half an hour creating your very own custom shade. They have dozens of different colors to choose from and the Lip Lab Artists will help you tweak and twerk (what?) your color until it’s perfect. You can watch as they add shimmer, flavor, and scent then add it to a mold and flash freeze it into the proper shape. They’ll even give you a recipe card with your exact blend, so once you’ve used it all up, you can just go and make another one – no problemo. Make an appointment because although they do take walk-ins, their reservation book can fill up fast.
