When the weather is nice, there’s no better place to explore vintage finds, handmade jewelry, and collectibles than the Brooklyn Flea. It’s like treasure hunting at its finest. Even if (especially if) you came not looking for any one specific item, we promise you won’t leave empty handed. Think milk crates from the 1920s to use as a nightstand, old handmade ladders to hold your extra blankets, vintage hats from the 40s, and beautiful, delicate necklaces made by local artists.
Opened since 2008, the weekend flea market has only grown in size, hosting dozens of vendors in any one their 3 outdoor locations. Any weekend from April through November, you can hit their Fort Greene location on Saturday and their Williamsburg (main) location on Sunday, while the Park Slope location is open both days.
We spend the winter making lists of things we need, then make a bee-line for Brooklyn to shop come April.
