The Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos is without a doubt one of our favorite Four Seasons properties. It opened in late 2019 on the serene, sparkling shores of the Sea of Cortez. Basically, when you leave the Cabo Airpot, you take a left and drive 45 minutes to the main stretch of back-to-back resorts on the Pacific side of Baja – or – you take right and drive 45 minutes to calm, more remote Sea of Cortez side of the peninsula – where there’s hardly anything else around you.
Beyond it’s spectacular setting, the resort feels so chic and new – the ultimate barefoot luxury vibe. With a desert-meets-beach design, the property is spread out over 2 miles of beachfront, so it never feels crowded. There are more pools than we can count – 5 maybe? So we often had one of the little pools entirely to ourselves, which was perfect for our toddler. The pools are nestled right into the soft sand with hardly any concrete around – adding to the natural feel of the place.
Guest Rooms: Contemporary, sleek, and very clean. Worth it to splurge on a ground floor suite with private plunge pool.
Restaurants: Outstanding Baja cuisine for lunch or dinner at the poolside Casa de Brasa. The taco sampler is a can’t-miss for lunch time – especially the cheesy lobster one of course. Come dinner time, feast on fresh catch – of your choosing – at Estiatorio Milos (yes, the same one that’s in NYC, by acclaimed chef Costas Spiliadis).
Beach & Activities: Jacque Cousteau once called the Sea of Cortez ‘the world’s aquarium’ because of its fascinating and diverse sea life. It’s also just a gorgeous, calm, peaceful body of water – great for swimming, unlike much of Cabo’s Pacific coast. Venture out on boating excursion or time your visit right to help release newly hatched sea turtles.
Spa: Brand new, top-notch spa with exceptional water experience – from varying temperature plunge pools to water massage features.
Kids Club / Families: Others try, but nobody caters to kids quite as well as the Four Seasons. This property has a wonderful kids club with superb staff and even a splash pad full of cactus water sprays. From the welcome amenities and crib set-up to restaurant/dining experience, they help their little guests feel so loved too!
Golf: World-class, desert-meets-beach golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones. With sandy dunes, challenging wind-factor (in a good way), and Sea of Cortez views – the resort is sure to soon host some big tournaments here.
