Imagine have a spa all to yourself — or better yet, all to you and your favorite person. No one else around to bother you, no loud person catching up on calls in the relaxation room, no one else to hog the hot tub. Just you and your person.
That sounds amazing in the best of times, but imagine it now, during COVID. The ability to book a private spa experience alleviates any concern for additional exposure to other random people and Anda Spa at Hotel Ivy in Minneapolis is offering just that.
Their newly available bespoke Night Spa affords you an intimate and safe time to indulge in some seriously needed self-care. For 3-hours, you and your spa-loving partner will forget about the concerns of the outside world and you may even actually feel the stress from the last few months melt away.
You’ll begin your journey with a dry brushing session, which will stimulate your lymphatic system (responsible for helping fight off infections), exfoliate your skin, and invigorate you senses. Next, you’ll be cocooned in luxuriously warm Shea butter wrap while a hot oil treatment is applied to your scalp.
Side-by-side massages follow and allow you to slip blissfully into a state of relaxation you haven’t felt in ages. A talented Anda Spa masseuse will knead out any knots, rub sore muscles, and help restore balance to your body.
After 2-hours of being pampered, the two of you will have the the quartz spa or crystal sauna to yourselves, where you’ll sip rose quartz infused Champagne, kombucha, or tea.
During these COVID times, my husband began working from home, we welcomed a new baby and our toddler has had lots of big changes in her life and thus lots of big feelings. Needless to say some days have felt very long, stress has been ever present, and date nights have been few and far between with all the COVID restrictions. Our evening at Anda Spa felt luxurious to say the least. For 2-hours we got to relax together, without worrying about kids or a virus and without other people around. We felt safe and taken care of by the staff, who truly don’t know what a lovely night they gave us. Cheers to that!
