Sooki & Mimi

In our opinion, Chef Ann Kim can do no wrong. The Minnesota food wizard already has local favorites Pizzeria Lola, Young Joni, and Hello Pizza and we have been dying to go to her newly opened Sooki & Mimi for months. We finally made it to the beautiful Uptown space and OMG why did we wait so long. The menu, which is Mexican with Korean influences, began as a 10-course tasting menu but has changed since the place opened earlier this year. Now, you’ll be served 3 courses each of which you get to choose from 4 options. You can’t go wrong with whatever you choose but here’s what we had- and LOVED- and can’t wait to have again.

Sooki & Mimi
FIRST COURSE | smoked lengua sope: sauerkraut, morita aioli, celery, pickled mustard seeds AND aguachile verde: seasonal melon, cucumber, radish, avocado, ground cherries, beech mushroom, purslane

Sooki & Mimi
THIRD COURSE | korean pork belly tacos: gochujang, chrysanthemum, pineapple relish AND mushroom birria tacos: confit maitake, queso chihuahua, shiitake crema, vegetable consommé
Sooki & Mimi
