Despite being right in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, the Scandinavian decor and cozy winter cabins at the Nordic Village will foll you into thinking you’re worlds away from the city! This charming set up at the Four Seasons Minneapolis is perfect for families or friends looking for a festive, wintry night out.
Set up on the fourth floor terrace you’ll find seven cabins, four of which seat up to four guests, while three seat up to eight. They’re all dressed for winter and each is named after a city or town in Minnesota. In the summer months this area is where hotel guests can go for a swim and enjoy a meal or drinks at the outdoor restaurant Riva Terrace (you needn’t be staying at the Four Seasons to dine at Riva Terrace). My what a difference a few months can make!
The beautiful interiors were carefully curated by Martin Patrick, a local upscale interiors, furnishings, and apparel shop in the North Loop but the decor feels anything but fancy. Twinkly lights and stars cut from music sheets hang from the ceilings, candles and art deck the walls, and table is the centerpiece of the intimate space.
From epic Minnesota shaped s’mores (with homemade vanilla bean marshmallows!) and cheese fondue, to melt in your mouth short ribs or salmon and gravlax with lefse and crudités, the menu is the perfect meal to enjoy in your cozy cottage.
Reservations for the Nordic Village are available on Tock and the village is set up November 1, 2023-March 31, 2024. Be sure you enjoy this lovely wintry experience while you can!
