Salt is a stylish boutique hotel on the island of Milos, Greece. Located on the quiet northern streets of a town called Pollonia, Salt boasts that classic white-washed Greek architecture and one killer sunset terrace. As far as location, the charming town of Pollonia serves as an ideal home-base for a visit to the island, with its beautiful marina-front, picturesque streets, and plethora of al fresco dining spots. A 5-minute walk from the town center, Salt is situated just outside the bustle with a prime northwest-facing sunset view.
Each of the guest-rooms at Salt have clean, crisp white interiors and are sparsely decorated in true Grecian form. There are a range of rooms and suites to choose from, most come with an instagram-worthy balcony, and a few suites even have a private outdoor soaking tub.
Salt does not have a restaurant, but there are plenty within walking distance in Pollonia. You can, however, order some vino and bar snacks to enjoy on Salt’s breathtaking waterfront terrace, which is peppered with cushioned loungers, wooden tables, and chic cabanas. Still a bit of secret, Salt is one of the best spots on the island to catch the sunset.
