Island Guide

Mustique

The island of Mustique essentially functions like a little neighborhood. On Wednesdays, everyone gathers at Basil’s Bar for drinks and dancing, Saturdays are reserved for a beach BBQ at The Cotton House. They are standing traditions and guests are welcomed, and encouraged, to join in. With a familiar and friendly vibe and stunning beaches, visiting Mustique makes for a truly unforgettable vacation. We’ve put together an island guide so you can easily navigate this little slice of heaven!

Best beaches
The Cotton House Mustique
Endeavor Bay: white sands and a good place to swim. Plus, it’s on The Cotton House property so there’s a bar and restaurant!
Mustique Lagoon Bay
Lagoon Bay: calm waters, lots of seashells for collectors, great place to picnic.
Mustique Obsidian Bay
Obsidian Bay: black sand beach is very cool! Good for swimming but at high tide, there isn’t much space on the beach.
Mustique Macaroni bay
Macaroni Bay: on the Atlantic side of the island, so expect big waves. Beautiful white sand beach with lots of picnic tables and a volleyball net for afternoon competition.
where to eat
Mustique Basil's Bar
Basil’s Bar: A Mustique staple, you can go any day for lunch or dinner. But, on Wednesdays, everyone on the island can be found here for the famed Jump Up, a night filled with live music and lots of dancing!
Cotton House Beach Cafe
Beach Cafe at The Cotton House: Serves delicious lunch with oceanfront views. Closed for dinner expect twice a week — Friday is pizza night and Saturday is a beach BBQ.
