The North Branch Inn

North Branch, NY

[masterslider id=”212″]

Tucked along a quiet street in Upstate New York is one of the most charming B&Bs we’ve found. Built in 1869, The North Branch Inn is the perfect place for a weekend getaway.

The 5 bedroom Main Inn House maintains is historical charm while still offering the updated amenities you crave. Each spacious bedroom has it’s own bathroom, with Malin & Goetz amenities, fluffy Sferra towels and robes. The beds sleep like clouds; we promise you’ll find it difficult to pry yourself from it come morning. With so much space, your room really feels like a home away from home.

Across the street, the Inn’s Library House offers 4 addition bedrooms, each with a clawfoot bathtub and plenty of space. Spend your afternoon in the Library Sitting Area, reading a book across from the wood burning stove and noshing on the delicious cookies and brownies you’ll find on the coffee table.

When you’re staying at The North Branch Inn, you really don’t need to leave. Each morning, you’ll find a beautiful and delicious spread laid out downstairs for breakfast. Fresh juice and coffee, eggs, yogurt and granola, and an assortment of pastries from the local bakery. Dinner is served in The Bar Room and Restaurant, which opens at 5 each day. The open concept allows you to grab a drink from the bartender, and watch the chefs prepare your meal. While you wait, test your skills at bowling. The 2-lane alley dates back to the early 1900’s and you’ll need a friend to post up at the end to reset the pins by hand. After dinner, snuggle up in the red velvet chairs next to the bowling alley for a movie projected onto a screen. If the chairs look familiar, it’s with good reason. They’re from Radio City Music Hall in NYC and add so much character to the room.

Every single detail at The North Branch Inn has been thought of. You’ll leave feeling rested, well fed, and relaxed and we guarantee you’ll have your next trip booked before you walk out the door.
