Opening weekend in Vail, Colorado is a snowy, magical place. Ski season usually starts there around the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and that was the case this year. We’re told that in 2015 there were a record number of runs open for the first weekend. While we didn’t have that great of luck (only 1 was open for opening weekend this year because there wasn’t enough snow), we still enjoyed our time in Vail. From snow capped mountains to charming village streets, every inch of Vail was beautiful and the pictures below prove it.
