Set right on a private beach in Cancun, Mexico, Nizuc feels worlds away from what probably comes to mind when you think on Cancun. Crowds, tourists — all of that is far from the beaches of Nizuc. Instead, you’ll find the beaches to be quiet, the pool to be serene, the restaurants top notch, and the service, unparalleled.

The open, breezy design brings the outside in at nearly every turn, from the lobby and restaurants to the cabanas and rooms. Perfect for any type of travel (girls trip, honeymoon, parents get away), we traveled with our then 4 month old daughter and found the hotel to be completely kid-friendly (for older kids, there’s a wonderful children’s program) and extremely accommodating. No matter your reason for going, you’ll be able to totally relax and leave all your worries behind.

Getting there

Direct flights can be found from most major airports.
Transportation from the airport to the property can be arranged through the hotel, or snagging a cab should be easy. It’s only about a 10-15 minute drive.

the room

The Private Pool Villa room type was incredibly ideal for traveling with a baby. With a private pool and huge outdoor cabana space, we were able to let the baby nap inside our room, and still be able to enjoy the sun just outside the room.
The room was spacious, with a dining nook, gigantic shower, soaking tub, and even an outdoor shower. Plenty of room for a crib without feeling crowded.
While some rooms are a golf cart ride away from the main portion of the property, the Private Pool Villas are just a short walk from the beach, spa, and all the restaurants on site.
