Winner winner fried chicken dinner. We’ve got some Southern roots here at C+T, and always appreciate some good ole tasty fried chicken. So trust us when we say run, don’t walk, to get a reservation at Momofuku Noodle Bar for their group-style fried chicken dinner. When we say run, we really mean click lightning fast over and over at precisely 10:00am when the website opens for the next batch of reservations. It’s the only thing you’ll need a reservation for at this David Chang foodie mecca. Best for 6 or 8 people, they’ll bring you two whole fried chickens: one Southern buttermilk style and the other Korean style with a finger-licking-good sauce. You can (slash, should) also get their mouth-watering pork buns and delicious mu shu pancakes.
The ramen at Momofuku is equally outstanding. For everything but the Fried Chicken Dinner, you can walk in any time to this Lower East Side restaurant. No matter what you order though, make sure you save room for dessert. The Momofuku family consists of 5 different restaurants and one dessert bar, Milk. Their cereal milk ice cream might bring tears to your eyes, as could their uniquely flavored cookies. We heart David Chang and can’t say enough about any of his Momofuku restaurants.
GET THE: Fried Chicken Dinner, any of the steamed buns, Momofuku Ramen, kimchi/pickles, smoked chicken wings. Every single one of the Milk desserts.
