Barrio Chino is always a fun night out. In fact, it’s trouble. Maybe it’s the spicy Mexican cuisine or perhaps the extensive tequila selection, but this tiny Lower East Side spot is always buzzing and has taken up a big place in our hearts stomachs. Rooted in Mexican cuisine, the restaurant also incorporates some Asian influences – a reflection of the very neighborhood it inhabits. It’s never a dull night when you include Barrio Chino into your line up, so pick your Thursday, Friday or Saturday night and make it happen. There are no reservations so come early, give your name and number to the hostess and go grab a drink two doors down at Ten Bells. Barrio does, however, take one group reservation per night for their large high top table in the middle which seats 10 to 14. So keep that in your pocket for fun group night out!
