Chef Eric Ripert’s tasting menu at Le Bernardin is on another level. Ranked #17 on S. Pellegrino’s 2015 Top Restaurants in the World List, this is the place you choose for a fancy celebration meal.

Le Bernardin has three Michelin stars. If we were Madame Michelin, we’d increase the scale and give them more. Chef Éric Ripert is a magician for all we know; his food was on another level to anything we’ve tasted before. The predominantly seafood menu is prepared simply and delicately – every bite bursting with flavor. Each course was more unbelievable than the last, and each glass of wine was perfectly paired.

Every dish from start to finish is designed and executed with the upmost detail. There are no words for the tuna carpaccio served over a thin foie gras smeared crostini. While salmon isn’t for everyone, when its swimming in truffles it sure is. Seabass, scallops, langoustine, and charred octopus are of the highest quality and melt in your mouth. As a great tasting menu should be, it’s an extremely memorable meal that will leave you dreaming about your return.
