This Little Italy pizza shop is the bomb dot com. We could survive on Rubirosa pizza for the rest of our days, should circumstances call for it. Always busy, it can be a tough reservation to snag, but it’s worth the effort to get one. The pizzeria is nostalgic of old-time Italy with grandma cranking out the good stuff in the back. The thin crust pie recipe, a 55-year-old family secret, makes it one of our favorite pizzas in the whole city.
Both the food and the atmosphere prove unbeatable this little gem. The Classic Pizza and the Vodka Pizza, always crowd favorites, are rivaled by the exemplary Chicken Parmagiano. Everyone from the old-school Little Italy locals to the new young foodie crowd adore this beloved Mulberry Street pizza spot.
