It’s five o’clock somewhere and we love popping in Terroir TriBeCa to quench our thirst. Usually, the problem with wine bars is that while the wine is good, the food options are no bueno. Not here. The downtown wine bar – with a second location at the Highline – has a great selection of affordably priced wines and a bevy of tasty food options. This poses the question: is it a wine bar with good food or restaurant with good wine? We vote option 1.

They’ve got great bar snacks, a whole section of fried goodies, a delicious lamb sausage, salads, sandwiches, and burgers, oh my! Their apple cider donuts have even be noted as some of the best in the City. The menu has lots of options but if it’s all too much for you to take in while sipping that Pinot, ask them to handle the ordering for you. Oh…& happy hour is every day from 4-6pm. Finally, good food that won’t drain the pocket.
