Get a load of this. In an old, converted textile factory in TriBeCa, a group of investors decided to recreate the same lavish bathhouse experience that was once so greatly adored by the ancient Greeks and Romans. When you walk into the lantern-lit space, glowing blue pools are scattered below amid colossal ceilings and exposed brick walls. The bathhouse consists of a variety of tubs ranging in temperatures from freezing cold pools to thermal hot tubs. The bath offering also entails a propeller-jet pool and the saltwater flotarium pool. The place is downright dreamy and its one of our favorite ways to spend an afternoon.

Aires has massage rooms, a gigantic steam room, and a relaxation room where you can rest on heated marble seating while sipping hot tea. To visit, they have a variety of entry packages that offer different bath and massage combos over a period of 1 and a half  to 2 hours. You pick your package and time slot online – just be mindful that the weekends fill up quickly.
