Don’t act like you haven’t been curious about this place since you watched “A Night at the Museum”. Do the animals come to life at night? We’re not sure. But what we do know is this Upper West Side destination is a mecca for both fun and learning! Whether your thing is underwater sea creatures, rocks and crystals, or dinosaurs, the American Museum of Natural History honestly has it all. Block out a few hours for your visit if you want to stroll leisurely amongst the ancient replicas because the museum is huge. And, if you just can’t bear to leave come closing time, no need! They offer sleep overs…or sleep unders. You can actually sleep under the blue whale in one of the exhibits. Kiddos only though!
