There are few evenings better than sitting at one of Barbuto’s sidewalk tables in the West Village enjoying Jonathan Waxman’s Pan-Roasted Chicken with Salsa Verde Drizzle. Yup, it’s pretty much Heaven. It gets better, though, because they also deliver a pretty stellar brunch. The atmosphere is fun and vivacious, especially when they open up the cool garage doors that flank two sides of the corner restaurant. The menu goes much deeper than just Waxman’s famed chicken, the pasta dishes are equally special. The light and peppery carbonara unexpectedly blew our minds. This restaurant is buzzing with a cool West Village vibe and delicious Italian-inspired fare. We really can’t think of a more perfect spot for a fun night out with friends, or a better place to brunch outside when the weather is nice!
