There really is no end to the list of things you can see and do in the New York City’s largest park… so here’s a list:
- you can go to the zoo
- captain your own rowboat
- jog around the reservoir
- ride the carousel
- ice skate (in the winter)
- read a god book in Sheep Meadow
- see a statue of Alice in Wonderland
- people watch from a bench (this could occupy hours)
- have a picnic lunch on the Great Lawn
- ride in a horse-drawn carriage
- rollerblade like it’s 1999
- have your caricature made by an artist
- watch a street performer
- get married there
- make a wish at Bethesda Fountain (the big fountain that’s in every movie)
- play baseball/softball/dodgeball/soccer
- listen to a Beatles tribute at Strawberry Fields
- visit Belvedere Castel
And this isn’t even everything! You could spend hours in this gorgeous green space. If anyone’s ever said Central Park is just a regular, old park, now you know better.
