If you like food, fun activities, and drinking, then you shall love the Brooklyn Kitchen. We think it’s one of the best activities in the city and it’s great for locals and tourists alike.

Their knife skills class is one of their most popular, and they offer these classes based on different levels of expertise. We tried out the basic knife skills class and learned things we thought we already knew how to do! Turns out, we’d been doing them wrong. Things like how to properly slice an onion, cut carrots into matchsticks, and the most efficient way to slice a bell pepper were all super helpful to learn! The instructor, who rounded out the class by teaching us how to break down a whole chicken, made it all seem really fun and exciting.

They are famous for their knife skills class, but they have a myriad of fun and interesting options to choose from. Classes include: Vietnamese Street Food, Fresh Pasta Making, Fried Chicken and Waffles, Cocktails, Pig Butchering, Donuts, and the Art of Braising – just to name a few. The teachers are quality, class sizes are small, and you don’t actually have to know anything about cooking to enjoy yourself. Plus, you’re usually working along side a nice cold Brooklyn Lager. It’s a tough job, but you can do it.
