If there’s one thing we love, it’s any opportunity to sample lots of different foods, outside, with a cold beer in hand. Lucky for us, and you, there’s Smorgasburg, which gives you the pleasure of doing exactly that. The open-air food market in the South Street Seaport on Fulton Street has a long row of great vendors slinging tasty munchies your way. Food vendors include the Red Hook Lobster Pound, Ramen Co., Milk Truck Grilled Cheese, Lumpia Shack, and more. The Seaport area has been beautifully revitalized in the last few years. It has a clean open-air vibe, and it’s a great place to stroll around, eat and shop. If you’re really feeling adventurous – head up and over to the Brooklyn Bridge to explore that side of the bridge as well. It’s worth checking the Seaport District calendar as well, because there’s usually some great farmer’s market or live music performance going on down there.
April through November Smorgasburg has 5 locations open: Williamsburg, Brooklyn Bridge Park, Coney Island, and the South Street Seaport in Manhattan. The South Street Seaport Smorgasburg is open daily from 11am-8pm.
