When the weather is nice, there is no cooler place to have cocktails-with-a-view than The Honorable William Wall, a floating clubhouse on the Hudson River. There are limited tickets available each evening (so it doesn’t get packed and you sink), so be sure and plan ahead. Tickets have become more coveted ever since the New York Times had a feature on it. It was also voted Lower Manhattan’s #1 secret treasure. Side note, how do you get on secret treasure panels?

To get there, you board a sailboat from the North Cove Marina downtown with about a dozen other folks at your set time. Then you set sail for a ten minute ride out to the clubhouse. It’s a bar on a barge (brilliant), and the views of lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty are unbeatable.
